About us

Our Story

Our mission is to empower people and strengthen communities. We develop self-presentation and communication skills, motivate individuals to work and mobilize resources for personal growth, and provide career counseling. We teach tolerance and expose young people to arts and crafts to prevent risky behavior, promote human progress, and help them integrate socially.

We defend and nurture democratic values and civil society. We protect the freedom, dignity, and self-esteem of children, young people, and other vulnerable or at-risk groups. We support personal fulfillment and work to improve the quality of life for children, young people, people with disabilities, and other socially vulnerable persons. To do this we build viable, sustainable structures for social services and care, deliver social-inclusion activities, and expand opportunities for public engagement, professional and creative development, and employment. We also provide tailored therapeutic support for children, people with disabilities, and others according to their needs.

We promote strategies for growth and employment, continuing training, and lifelong learning. We facilitate the employment and social integration of vulnerable groups, the unemployed, and employed persons through literacy programs, vocational training, and postgraduate qualifications. We design, participate in, and support projects and programs that link lifelong learning and staff qualification to real labor-market outcomes at home and across the EU. We support literacy and professional development for Bulgarian citizens abroad, help integrate immigrants into our country, and assist qualified Bulgarians in returning or entering labor markets both domestically and internationally. We are active in human-resource development programs.

We encourage the cultivation of spiritual and ethical values across all social groups and support processes of inner awakening and expanded consciousness. We run courses, schools, and programs that help people overcome personal trauma and difficult emotional experiences, and that develop moral, ethical, and spiritual frameworks for self-knowledge and personal development.
